There's a stupid footnote on the main page of GC that fucks up the wallpaper, by pushing it a bit too high.
I edited the HTML and I got rid of it, but when I refresh it's just the same.
Any idea if there's an option on how to close it?

Hmm I assumed you meant another type of footer, but with the chrome web store footer there is no "permanent" fix.

the only current fix is to inspect the element and delete the footer. (I believe you said you did this though.)

until chrome allows you to save with the developer tools, there will not be a complete fix. Sorry.
